Brooklyn, New York was way off the path of totality for the 2017 eclipse, but that didn’t deter our borough’s enthusiasm. Brooklynites brought their DIY pinhole cameras to Prospect Park projecting the lunar event.

As impressive was the crescent shadows that decorated the grounds. The constantly evolving shapes echoed the planet crossing on every surface. Last Monday may have been a hit to work productivity, but the eclipse provided a much-needed holiday from our self-inflicted human earthly conflicts!
